The steps of the process for this membrane coating system include:

  1. Rinse Thoroughly
  2. Clean Surface with Conklin’s WAC II Cleaner
  3. Apply Conklin’s Tack Coat Primer
  4. Apply a 6” Wide Strip of Conklin’s Base Coat
  5. Embed 4” Spunflex Fabric with A Brush or Roller 
  6. Immediately Apply a Second Layer of Base Coat to Encapsulate Spunflex
  7. Perform The Same Process to All of The Details and Penetrations
  8. Apply Rapid Roof III or Equinox Top Coat to The Entire Surface


Rather than having an entire roof torn off and replaced, we add a layer over the top to help provide any necessary repairs and a new seal. This new acrylic roof coating will lead to many benefits.
